'14 JUCO OL Jermaine Eluemunor (UCLA & Arkansas decommit; Texas A&M Verbal)

Yep, and if he drives, he gets reimbursed for every mile he travels as well.

FWIW, each schools's Compliance Office has their own official policy on "official Visits" to insure compliance with NCAA regulations. Apparently they can get $.48 per mile, etc. See example (kind of interesting) of Kansas' policy on mileage reimbursement:

The Official Recruiting Visit Mileage Reimbursement form must be submitted five (5) working days in advance of the visit for all prospective student-athletes requesting cash reimbursement for personal vehicle mileage. The form requires the signatures of the prospective student-athlete (can be signed when providing check) and the recruiting coach and documents the mileage travel (include printout of mapquest confirming mileage), the rate of payment per mile (up to .48 cents) and the total sum paid. Failure to submit the form in advance results in delayed payments. Under no circumstances is a Coach allowed to personally reimburse a prospect or prospect's parents and then submit for reimbursement. In an emergency situation, contact Sport Administrator who will be able to facilitate.

I couldn't find Ohio State's, but I'm sure that they have one too

Makes you wonder why you don't see more cases of ten guys from the east coast piling into a van and taking their official visit to (insert california school here) at the same time.

Because only one can be reimbursed. That's why the school requires receipts...

Another big development is that it appears '14 JUCO OL Jermaine Eluemunor will be wrapping his recruitment up shortly. The current UCLA commit has been a soft verbal since he first gave his pledge to the Bruins, visiting Ohio State the weekend after committing to Jim L. Mora's bunch. Much of the speculation has been that OSU are now the front runners for his services. Our Luke Zimmermann spoke with Eluemunor Monday evening and the big man told LGHL he'll "hopefully announce his decision Friday". We'll keep an eye on this one as it develops further.
If Eluemunor commits today, any worries about the OL during the 2014 season will be forever expunged, and Warinner will go down as an incredible recruiter, not just an incredible coach.

He isn't commiting today. Apparently has set up a visit to FSU later this month and talking about one to 'Bama.

This is strange.

Plenty of speculation to go around.
