Free 24/7 - Recruiters flocking to Good Counsel

The sophomore class figures to be just as touted. Offensive lineman Sam Madaras, the younger brother of senior teammate Mike, is a thick 6-foot-2, 315-pounds, with scholarships from North Carolina State, Ohio and Eastern Kentucky. Classmate and fellow offensive lineman Sam Mustipher, who is listed at 6-foot-4, 270-pounds, has full-rides from Illinois, Ohio State and North Carolina State. Safety Kobe Walker is an impressive looking 6-foot-3, 200-pounds with an offer from North Carolina State.

Catching Up with Sam Mustipher: The Game Visit - Eleven Warriors

How did you enjoy your visit to The Game?

It was amazing. I had never experienced an atmosphere like that. 110,000 crazy fans and a great rivalry, it was a special experience. It was an eye opener. Friday at the walk-through Coach Meyer asked me if I was ready for a game on the big stage and I said I was.

Which coach did you speak most with?

I talked to Coach Warinner, the offensive line coach. He told me I'd fit into their offensive line scheme if I went to the program, probably at the guard spot. He said he was going to look over my game film from the season too.

When would you like to make a decision?

I hope to make a decision in the spring. I'll probably cut my list to five at the start of spring and make a decision near the end. I want to commit early to help the school I commit to recruit talent for my class.

Looking to commit early, recruit for the school he plans to attend, plays guard & goes to Good Counsel. Yes, yes, yes & absolutely yes.

Mustipher Set To See ND

Sam Mustipher has been looking forward to visiting South Bend for a while now and the 2014 Maryland offensive lineman will get the chance to do so this weekend when he attends Notre Dame?s Junior Day.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder from Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) already holds more than a dozen offers from schools like Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Maryland among others. He?s looking forward to seeing the Notre Dame campus, coaches, players and academics, but he?s also hoping to add another offer to his list.

"It would definitely mean a lot to me," Mustipher said of possibly being offered by the Irish. "It's a great program with a lot of great linemen coming out of there.

"I go to school right now with Russ Grimm's nephew. His family is really pushing Notre Dame on me. His dad (Donn) went there and he talks to me about it all of the time. He says if I go up there, I'm going to love it as soon as I get up there. I'm definitely looking forward to getting up there."

Mustipher has already formed pretty solid relationships with Notre Dame assistants Kerry Cooks and Scott Booker.

He's made stops at Maryland, West Virginia, Penn State and Ohio State and is planning more trips.

gatorcountry - Florida Offer OL Sam Mustipher

2/14

While Florida signed five offensive lineman in the Class of 2013, the Gators are still looking to build depth in the Class of 2014.

Olney (Md.) Good Counsel offensive guard Sam Mustipher is one of the latest prospects to receive an offer from Florida.

?Getting an offer from Florida is huge,? Mustipher said. ?It was also my first SEC offer so that?s big too. It?s definitely one of the most exciting ones I have received. I look forward to staying in touch with the staff and getting down to Florida for a visit.?
