Hi I'm a newbie from Crawford County. I'm pretty sure the last Galion recruit to be looked at by OSU was Andy Roesch (1998). Andy ended up in the MAC but he visited OSU a lot.

The Galion Area has had some success with athletes.

Courtney Avery (Michigan)- 15 minutes from Galion (Lexington) intercepted OSU's final pass in The Game this year.

Tyler Brause & Tevon Eatmon (Kentucky decommit from Stanford)- local rivalry Wynford, both boys are playing in the SEC albeit Kentucky. Eatmon is actually Watkins cousin.

Jon Deibler (OSU NBA)- Deibler comes from Galion league foe Upper Sandusky and is Ohio's All Time bball scoring leader. Deibler was said to be a bad recruiting decision by many OSU fans before arriving in Columbus.

JB Shuck (OSU baseball star and current Houston Astro)- Shuck is from Galion was a consistant All Big Ten player for Ohio State. He is doing well for the Astro's in MLB.

Dustin Fox (Northwestern NCAA heavyweight National Champion) Dustin defeated the Ohio State heavyweight to win the National Championship a few years ago.

That's a few Galion and Galion area kids to do well in college and/or professionally recently. There are more.

He reminds me a lot of Braxton Miller when he runs in open space. He has that rare ability of making it look easy to make people miss. Braxton is faster but this kid is only a sophomore in HS. He would be great in WR screens and kick returns
