Would really like to see this kid in this class too. Build that athletic interior d line depth

He is shorter than what I would consider ideal size for a DT at Ohio State, but I am intrigued by what he can bring to the table. The bigger DTs mostly take up space and blockers as they try to hold the point of attack. Poona, on the other hand, has tremendous athleticism and quickness to shoot the gaps and get in the back field, being short could allow him to out "leverage" an offensive lineman if he has the strength- low man wins, and it looks like he has the long arms needed for some devestating pass rush moves.

Overall it looks like he has he potential to be a nightmare to block on the interior and a type of athletic attacking DT I don't recall having at OSU during my memory except maybe in 2002.

Michael Bennet is close to that type of player this season.

With Charley Strong abandoning the Louisville ship, does anyone see Poona rethinking his commitment? This guy is the only name I see on the committed list that has been mentioned to any extent here. W/o a DT in this class, thought someone might drop Urb a line and see if this guy wanted to change-up his dance card.......

OSU passed on Poona first time around. At no time did he have a commitable offer. Can't see them circling the wagon on a kid they passed on once before. If there is anyone they would give another look to at DT I would think it would be Holley and even that I don't see happening.
