To some, National Signing Day is a very serious event, almost a quasi-religious holiday.

Then there’s Preston Williams.

In and of itself, the fact that the four-star wide receiver signed with Tennessee is a big deal. At 6-3, 189 pounds, Williams is the type of talent, in a loaded UT class, who could come in and contribute immediately.

That, though, is unimportant at the moment. What is of import in the here and now is the young man taking his haberdashery game to the next level. Or several levels, if you want to get right down to it.
