Rich has won 7, 8 & 8 games over the last 3 seasons. Les does have a ring, but that was also a rare 2 loss NC team who won it by default (both NC opponents backed their way in).

It's tough to rank Brooks ahead of a NC winner, but I have a sneaking suspicion that if you switched coaches, Brooks would keep up his consistency, while Les would not. Consistency at a basketball school - in a brutal football conference, no less - is pretty impressive.

Agreed. Brooks has brought UK from the seller, and turned them into bowl team 3 years running. Which says somthing.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Two University of Georgia football players will
incur suspensions due to violation of team rules, according to an
announcement Saturday by Bulldog head coach Mark Richt.

Junior tight end Bruce Figgins has received a six-game suspension
and redshirt sophomore defensive end Justin Houston has been suspended for
two games. A third player, junior wide receiver Tony Wilson, also violated
team rules; however, he is in the process of being medically disqualified
from competition due to slow recovery from a severe ankle injury originally
suffered in the spring of 2008.

“I'm very disappointed in the poor judgment of these players,” said
UGA head coach Mark Richt. “They'll have to pay an appropriate price and
I'm confident they will learn an important lesson from their mistake.”

"Boahs will be dad-gumed boahs, Bobbah always said..." Helen Hunt loses three. All were to be contributors, two starters.

I love how SEC fans all accuse each other of being rednecks.

It's a time honored tradition.

Call a Bama fan a redneck - drink a case of busch light
Call an Auburn fan a redneck - marry a woman named Maggie Mae
Call an Arkansas fan a redneck - take your truck muddin'
Call a Georgia fan a redneck - become a lawyer with a UF degree

Jarmon fails drug test, out for senior year

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky defensive end Jeremy Jarmon was ruled ineligible for his senior season by the NCAA because of a failed drug test.

He said at a news conference Saturday he had inadvertently taken a banned substance that turned up positive during a random NCAA test in February. An appeal was denied, in effect ending his college football career.

Jarmon did not identify the substance and took no questions.

Jarmon took the supplement while recovering from a shoulder injury and was not taking part in activities. He had been taking the supplement for 15 days before checking with the training staff, who told him to stop taking it.

"But it was too late," Jarmon said, reading from a prepared statement.

Cont'd ...
