Nick Saban (ex-HC Alabama Crimson Tide)

Also shows the extent to which the recruiting services have systemically overrated Southern talent. I'm not saying that there isn't more talent down there, but when it's claimed that the entire BIG didn't recruit a single "5-star" talent this year, something's wrong with the rankings.

Screw the rankings. Read JJ Watts tweet yesterday. Nuff said

If you think Meyer and Fickell will tolerate even the slightest sense of entitlement amongst the players, you need to rethink your position...

Human beings are human beings. Not saying it will be tolerated, just that it might be harder to prevent it from creeping in when all that's known is success and more and more people tell them how great they are. We like to claim that "disrespect" motivates, but too much respect can demotivate.

Meyer has "been there done that" with national titles twice at Florida...I think he knows how to ensure any complacency doesn't set it.

I think Bosa, EzE, Barrett and that core group will not allow it. It's not just about talent. I think this group especially is close and comprised of good kids. That's more rare than a recruiting class full of 5 stars.

Doesn't guarantee they'll keep winning. But complacency won't be the reason if it goes off the rails.

Wonder how Saban feels about third chances?

What makes this a significant issue for Smith is that it’s the player’s second alcohol-related charge in less than two years.

In August of 2013, Smith was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. A couple of days later, Saban announced that the defensive back would be suspended for the opener against Virginia Tech.

You can be sure Taylor will learn his lesson after Saban makes him sit out the spring game as punishment

Lets not go crazy here.

There is no need to destroy the kids life just because he has trouble not beating on women.

I think sitting the first half of the spring game will be enough to finally teach him right from wrong.
