WR Jalin Marshall (Edmonton Elks)

Love Jalin. Great kid and tremendous athlete. Before Middletown went to the straight triple when Everhart took over nobody struck more fear in a Colerain defense out of the shotgun/zone read than Jalin. Even more so than Spencer Ware. I wouldn't be stunned if OSU has multiple throws out of this formation with Jalin.

This would be the perfect time to unleash the wildcat formation. A week off with lots of reps and quite frankly that's all we are missing with Braxton out right now. That threat in the option/zone read game from the QB position.

Agreed H&G. I distinctly remember him running for about 300 yards on my Moeller Crusaders in the playoffs. Nearly took them out by himself.

The UC defense is probably as good as that Moeller defense as well. Should bode well if we used the wildcat. But the way he's currently being used with Dontre has been working great as well. Just get him the ball in space

I like the idea of him running it as opposed to a running back. I understand the numbers game but I still think you need to to at least be some sort of threat to throw it (even if it's just a screen) or the defense can just tee off.

Yes, it's a luxury to have a guy who got some qb offers back there to possibly run it. Not saying that it doesn't work with a rb. I just think it COULD (remains to be seen) be that much more effective with JM... or Cardale, for that matter.
