WR Jalin Marshall (Edmonton Elks)

I have a friend who works with Jalin's brother (supposedly) and he said that Jalin will be a Buckeye. Take it for what it's worth.

This dude is probably the best player in Ohio next year. People are offering and saying pick whatever position you want.

You're right. Jalin's brother is a HUGE buckeye fan, and is doing all he can to make Jalin Committ. Jalins brother is a member at Bucknuts.

Think that's a terrible comparison as Jackson doesn't like contact at all and excels with deep routes.

Jalin to me is a guy who will catch a lot of underneath throws and make big plays out of them breaking tackles and outrunning the defense.

Percy Harvin a step slower but a lot stronger and tougher.

Kid is gonna be phenomenal.

I've never watched his film so I'll agree with you.

I think he just meant it in terms of explosiveness and big play ability though.

I think Percy Harvin is a very good comparison and IF he is a step slower, it's a very tiny step. Really have only seen one highlight of his actual throwing, looked good to me.

Percy set four Virginia Division AAA state high school track records during his junior year - winning the long jump, triple jump, 100-meters, 200-meters, and 400-meter relay. He supposedly was clocked with a 4.32 40 his freshman year. Heck, after his foot injury and all of the time missed and the heel surgery Percy ran a 4.41 in the combine.

If Jalin has close to Percy jets, sign that man up!!

Edit: just saw the video. Jalin does seem to have a nasty steak and does not shy away from contact/likes to break arm tackles. And he has that 5th gear that gets separation when he needs it. Very Percy like in the way he runs. Good comparison, really. I hope you get him.

Percy is a pretty ridiculous comparison but he's in the ballpark. If he's even close he should be a top 10 national recruit. I live in VA and saw Percy in the state championships his jr year and one of the 2 best performances I've seen on the hs level. Think Jalin is in the ballpark but not quite that explosiveness but he's bigger and stronger. He did run a 4.40 at the OSU camp this summer.

Percy is what 5'11 190, Jalin is 6' close to 200 at 16 and looks like this.

According to Gator, Havin won the 100M with a time of 10.69. Incoming WR recruit Devin Smith won the Ohio title this year with a 10.70. As far as I'm concerned, that's close enough for "government work".

BTW, I'm looking forward to several years of Smith getting behind the UM secondary, and Braxton dropping the ball in his arms.

Smith ran a 10.5X in the Regionals. That's some serious SEC speed.
