Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers)

If they traded Holmes for smoking pot because " that image is not the steelers". Then they HAVE to trade this guy. I dont think he's that great of a QB. Does he have 2 rings. Yes. Trent Dilfer has one. Ding me, hate me or block me, but this mutha[censored]er is THE luckiest QB of ALL time. JMO..

What makes you say that? Just curious.

Without looking anything up, just of the top of my head.

1st SB run.....Steelers broke Carson Palmers leg on a BAD hit. Giving basiclly a win. Indy Game, Bettis fumble at the goalline or something i forgot. Also the free TD at the goal line in the SB against the Seahawks.....and a 80 yard td run by now horrible old overated Wille Parker.

2nd SB, you throw that ball 100 times. i dont think its caught 5 times.

I think he had just a lot of luck on his side. Ive seen him make play that Brady Quinn has laughed at and then the next play have Hines ward make a 40 yard one handed catch to null it and make you forget about.

Dude can and throw and shake people off......why cant he get a girl ????????

like i said, just my 2 cent. I could be wrong very wrong. I like him at Miami too :/

I'm not a Roethlisberger fan at all, but this just seems like a bunch of sour grapes to me. If this is the best evidence you can come up with that he lucked his way into two Super Bowls, then you could probably come up with equally "convincing" arguments as to how Montana, Elway, Brady, etc. also lucked into their Super Bowl victories.

I can only hope women in the Bay area are a little less safe soon.

Oh, priceless! :rofl:Tell me this is accidental...

Is there anything else we should know about Ben?

As a Steelers fan I am not upset at all that Ben is suspended he certainly needs it. I question the length of it though for a guy that has never been charged with a crime. Whether you like the guy or not it sets a bad precedence by the commissioner and I really like him. I would have said 4 games tops but 6 seems a bit extreme. For the record I don?t have a problem with him getting traded but I don?t think he will and if he does it would be a little nice to get something other than a 5th round pick and bag of magic beans like we got for Holmes.

Before anybody starts saying ?but he raped two women? certainly there is some evidence of that in this case but the second one is pretty sketchy. Let?s see you claim Ben raped you but after having sex with him you brag to your co-workers that you had sex with him and then waited a full year to file a civil case. Yeah that sounds believable.

It's a 6 game suspension with the possibility of dropping to 4 with good behavior. As long he's not a bigger moron than people think he is, it'll be a 4 game suspension. If he does something to warrant it staying at 6, I have a feeling he'll just get suspended for the season.

People say that he wasn't charged with a crime. And he wasn't, sure. If he had raped these women he'd be out for the year, at least. That being said, how many athletes are there in pro sports? And how many of those are dragged through multiple sexual assault/rape/whatever cases? Very few. Where there's smoke, there's fire. It was pretty obvious that the DA wanted to charge Ben.
