Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers)

I'm sure most of us golfers have passed water "on the course" many times.

I'm equally sure that, in order for the cops to be called, this was not one of the usual "look for the weeds" events. People here in Dublin know enough not to call the cops if the golfers exercise even a little caution not to wave their peckers in the neighbors' faces.

Ben just screwed the pooch again here.

Some golfer (a German names Siems) at the British Open was spotted on camera ducking into the gourse, presumably to take a leak.

I suppose everybody else in his group should get penalized by the R&A.

Big Ben ditches his "hometown"

Posted by Mike Florio on August 12, 2010 9:18 PM ET

When officially entering the Hall of Fame on Saturday night, linebacker Rickey Jackson repeatedly mentioned his hometown. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger apparently will be mentioning his hometown no more.

Roethlisberger, per the Associated Press, has changed his hometown from Findlay, Ohio to Corey Rawson. It's a town so small that, well, it doesn't exist.

Roethlisberger, as the AP points out, once attended Cory-Rawson School.

We've confirmed that, indeed, Roethlisberger's "hometown" and "birthplace" are identified as "Corey Rawson, Ohio" in the Steelers' 2010 media guide.
