Did someone say they need to pay a lawyer a lot of money for a lot of years?

Here's my card... :P

Well this guy (who probably doesn't know anymore than anyone else, maybe even less) says: if the Big 12 were to expand today, it’s clear that Cincinnati and BYU have a huge gap over the rest of the field.

Entire article: http://frankthetank.me/

I do believe that the Big 12 would really like two more teams to be able to have a Conference Championship Game (and the $$$s that come with it).

BYU makes more sense, IMO, national alumni + Heisman + MNC. Cinci brings Ohio recruiting inroads.

Sunday's NY Times had an interesting article of Delaney and BTN. I don't think the Big goes any further unless ND comes around with hat in hand. The lump sum from TV revenue isn't going to jump each time a new team is brought on board, and since everyone shares, the pot is only going to get smaller each time a new school is added.

If Delaney is smart enough to get Maryland and Rutgers to open two big markets, he should be smart enough to get two playoff sites in the new NCG program, NYC and Chicago.

@alex_prewitt
Maryland files a $157 million counterclaim vs. ACC. Alleges Wake Forest/Pittsburgh officials tried to recruit unnamed B1G schools to leave.

@38Godfrey
So Maryland alleges ESPN counseled the ACC on how to poach B1G schools, and now ESPN has to report this.

The idea that ESPN has an agenda against the B1G is a tinfoil hat conspiracy? I guess we can put that to bed once and for all.
