Tyjon Lindsey (WR Nebraska Cornhuskers, transfer to Oregon St.)

I know we have landed Jalin, Dontre and Curtis (who are all awesome) but I would sure love to land an elite pure WR in the slot. We have a few on the roster who could be if they were healthy. But with the taller WR types we have on the horizon I would just love to land an elite slot guy after flirting with the likes of Diggs, Kirk, etc. Dontre had to add weight, Jalin had to completely learn the position, Curtis is making the transition well but still leans more to the RB mold. This kid is just a straight up baller in the slot. Want. Put him on the field with any combo of Noah Brown, Gibson (possibly), Austin Mack, and hopefully Victor........mercy, mercy.

Agree 100%. Lindsey is about at the top of my wish list. I'm not sure what our odds are but I think we will be going all in here. He is one of the most electric athletes I have watched and would fit like a glove in our offense at pivot.

Points for production value...better than NFL Films.

He and Garrett are tight...have to think Garrett's commitment only helps OSU's chances. That coupled with the fact Lindsey has family in Ohio and Zach Smith has made him a priority has be watching this recruitment closely.

Filthy. Want.

Love that not only do we get an elite need with Garrett, but also a better shot with Lindsey. Just reminds me of the kid on the playground that dominates every day and at every position. Electric player and not only does he have elite acceleration and ability in the open space, he is a legitimate deep threat and a pure receiver despite his ability to play H here. Only knock is size and considering the fact that I see Grimes and Harris in this class, that is not a big deal at all here.

Birm made his "crystal ball" prediction for Tyjon today & picked OSU. He explains why here.

He's already shifted some attention toward Ohio State, as he's set to visit the campus in late March. He'll travel to Columbus alongside former Bishop Gorman teammate and 4-star Buckeyes defensive tackle commit Haskell Garrett.

"My relationship with the team's staff is great, and we talk a lot. Now I just need to experience Ohio State in person and find out if it's a good fit," Lindsey said.

He credits head coach Urban Meyer, wide receivers coach Zach Smith and director of player personnel Mark Pantoni as integral components of his established rapport with the program.

"It's been sparks flying with us since they first reached out," Lindsey said.

He points to a significant collection of family members in Ohio as further incentive to explore the university, though there's certainly a climate adjustment between Corona and Columbus.

"I want to get back out there again when it's cold so if that's my college choice, I can understand what that weather is like," Lindsey said.
