Let's use this thread to talk about what remains of the Cavs going forward, and save the LeBron stuff for his thread.

Has anyone else heard any crazy stories about West and LBJ's mom?:(

PC over...someone asked them directly about Delonte, and they pretty much dodged it.

From what I heard during the Q&A portion of the press conference that the Cavs plan on regrouping on the fly and try to keep winning. Will be interesting to see what they try to do.

Old news... discuss in the thread name not to be discussed in this thread.

Fortunately, the remainder of the roster is set up as well as we could hope to fit Byron Scott's style of play. I don't want to see them spend their newfound caps space just to spend it, but at this point the should be looking for low-cost, low-risk role players that can play uptempo.

All things considered, part of me is excited to see a different style of play in Cleveland.

As they should rumors not withstanding, he has other very real issues that don't need to be around this team as they try to rebuild. I'd only hang on to him for a little while longer because his non-guaranteed contract could still be an attractive asset to a trade partner trying to meet a budget.

I guess that Delonte math works... they're at $45.6 without west... I think thats the wrong move, though. They should try to dump Mo and keep West... for both $$ reasons and "hahaha - we f*cked your mom" reasons... Plus, I think Delonte is a tougher player, better defender and a better PG.

I'd offer Mike Miller 1-2 mil a year more than Miami.

His job would be very, very easy in Miami... :(

Resist the temptation to try to improve by spending cap money. Sign cheap turds, let the young players take their lumps, and get in the lottery for next year. If trades are made, get trade exceptions or draft picks in return, if possible.

Really? You want to keep Delonte? Seems to me he has more baggage than a 767 flight to Indochina, which is the last thing we need right now when trying torebuild the squad. I'd trade him and 3 rows of his blow for a 2nd and a case of Turtle Wax. But that's just me, I guess. I'm not overly impressed with Mo either, but I honestly think he has more upside than West for next season.
