Chad "LLLL" Henne (QB Kansas City Chiefs)

Ok, maybe I got caught up in the moment. But he sure puts the ball where it needs to be.

His pass in overtime to Massequoi was on the money. Remember, he's a true freshman. Zwick/Smith is a 3rd year sophomore and he doesn't look anywhere near as good as Henne. Supporting cast or not, Henne is going to be a problem for a few years to come.

I don't deny that ysu, he is good but you gotta agree its alot easier to throw passes and develop into a fine QB when your have a great supporting cast. At least a decent Offensive line. He is good though as much as it pains me to admit it. OK FINE you got me to admit it ok ... HAPPY ?? I admited a tsun guy was good ok .... YOU MADE ME DO IT DAMNIT !!! :pissed:

I really didn't want you to go that far. Are you going to be alright? Don't do anything rash, just go to bed and forget it!!

:bonk:

They can't say shit on the radio can they?

I watched the game and he was managing it for the first three quarters. He wasn't throwing much at all, just handing off to Hart.

My point is, that when it came time to throw, he threw like a 4 year starter, not a true freshman. But you know what. I'm sitting here in my pajamas defending a goddamn Michigan man. Fuck em. There. Good night.

I am curious as to the Henne bashers who say he would not be so great without his supporting cast. What if he played for Ohio State? Would you be reacting the same way? Face it, he is a good young freshman QB who has a great supporting cast, BUT he still has to throw the ball downfield and stay within himself. He's doing a better job now than John Navarre did in all his years at TSUN.

Dunno where it was that anyone was bashing Henne. We've all agreed he is a good player. Unless that was a confusing attempt at sarcasm or humor.. HAHA I think I got it.. thanks :slappy:
My question to you is why are you defending a tsun player anyways???

Simple statement. He is a good player but its alot easier to be good and to mature when you have a decent offensive line and receivers. I saw the game and he was not a "phenom" in the first half or even in the third quarter against MSU but he pulled off a good victiory in the end. If you think that's bashing mrksd2005... well ya got some thin skin there. He is a good QB though.
I've seen many of tsuns games this year and he is a good QB but he has a very good supporting cast. He also has 10 interceptions on the year. That's not bashing, thats an observation that he has gotten to where he is as a player in part due to others helping and supporting him.
Also, if he was at OSU he'd be having just as hard a time as these QB's did in the previous 5 games.

I am calling it now, Henne is going to be the quarterback with a fantastic season and stats every year he is there but chokes when it comes down to either tOSU or the bowl game (my crystal ball wont tell me which). You all know the type, he will have HUGE achilles heal and it will drive the scUMs nuts. :)

well....on the radio they said he was over throwing people all day long. anybody can look good just lobbing it up to braylon edwards against a 3 foot tall CB.

im not saying he sucks....i just dont see where this "phenom" title comes from when from the accounts of the guys on the radio, he sucked for the first 3 and a half quarters.

:stupid: Sorry Mr. Henne we won't discuss your son anymore...damn if you consider this thread bashing, just wait till the next time you decide to defend a scUMmer around here.

Admit it Henne's good, real good!

The one big reason we were never in on Henne, Zwick was supposed to be all world for the next three years at tOSU. Navarre had just graduated. So Scum was in need of a QB. Not hard to figure out. Plus our offense will never impress the young high school all-americans. Scum has the tradition of putting QB's in the pros also. I think we need to get an offensive coordinator with real imagination. Keep JT though. Go Bucks!!!!
