Chad "LLLL" Henne (QB Kansas City Chiefs)

scUM's 4th qtr game plan was to throw jump balls to Edwards. Edwards made all the plays and the balls were thrown where they had to be thrown. MSU's coverage was there but their DB's are small compared to OSU's. Henne has also had the benefit of 200 yard rushing games by Hart. That helps take off some of the heat (until the 4th qtr down by three scores). I think the big blow was the onside kick. If MSU fields the kick clean on scUM's 45 yard line, the result is different.

Exactly. MSU had CB Jaren Hayes (5'9") on both TD passes to Edwards and the one to Avant. Not only is Hayes 6" shorter, he can't adjust to the ball for shit. If I were our OC, I'd be sending Roy Hall, Anthony Gonzales, or Devon Lyons at him all game.

once you get to over time and your CB who couldve tried out for Elf with will ferril....why not just stick a WR back there? you dont have anybody near 6 feet tall to cover the lob pass to the end zone?

Reports out of AA saying he and Jake Long are coming back for their senior seasons because they have, "unfinished business." It certainly is going to be heartbreaking when these bitch-asses lose in AA on their senior day.

I'll believe the Long part of it when I see it in print around the deadlines for junior athlete declarations. If Long is academically graduated then there is little to keep him there in the face of a pretty sure 1st round slot (though, turning that around Troy Smith had his degree and still came back). FRankly, even if he is not academically graduated, yet has a projected 1st round draft status it makes little sense to stay.

Henne may indeed be argued to have unfinished business, such as a modicum of development.
