A proven HC with an offensive problem and a proven OC with a head coaching problem. Makes way too much sense.

I don't think I could agree with this post more.

Said the same thing the day they were both fired... It makes too much sense it wont happen but we can dream

Let's just give Tressel a call....at least it'd give us something extra to root for. You could certainly do a lot worse. He understands game management, the importance of a strong defense and run game, and players love playing for him.

I'd take Tressel 100 times before I offered Whisenhunt, Bill O'Brien, or Marrone.

The only issue I have with Norv is when San Diego started
Going away from the running game, the offense started to
Implode. Now I will concede that LT was also aging at the
Time. But was still effective ( health permitting) running the
Ball when he was.

Putting the ball into the hands of a proven turnover machine.
Philip rivers is a pretty decent QB on play action. When he's
Asked to throw 40x a game - he's a different player.

I have a feeling Lovie would balance out turners style very well.
He's a no-nonsense HC. Believes in running the ball and sound
Defense with a 43 base.

Couldn't be a better fit IMHO. But Haslam/Banner want that 'fresh'
Face as opposed to a proven coach.

It isn't like the situation in Zona. Kurt Warner took that team to the
SuperBowl. Not Wisenhunt. Lovie had Rex Grossman and Jay Cutler.
That's coaching talent if I've ever seen it.

I'll just address the comments about Norv. Look at who his GM was they let anyone with a pulse walk or AJ Smith [censored]ed the agents off enough that no amount of money would get them back. Norv is [Mark May] as an HC but this work as an OC only is just about unquestionable.

Doesnt help their replacement for Tomlinson is glass joe

I think Turner's scheme would work pretty well with the Browns personnel. Many similarities to the early 90's Cowboy's

Need to get better at interior run blocking.

Weeden has the offensive line that can make mediocre
QB's look good. I feel Norv would identify Brandon's
Strengths and not make this offense so personnel/ formation constrained.
