Cleveland Browns (2013 Season)

I would take him and if Sheldon Brown was willing to re-sign and move back and play FS with a smile on his face that would make our defensive backfield a little better. However, don't know if Brown would be willing to move back.

I would take a CB or a RDE/OLB with that #6 pick.

Moving to FS isn't as easy as just saying it.

I would still really like to see us be aggressive
For Jarius Byrd or perhaps somehow acquiring
A 2nd rounder this year to get Matt Elam.

Either of those two plus Milliner and just a dash
Of offensive improvement would allow us to
Immediately complete for the AFC north.

They wanted to move him to FS last year but he squawked so even the last regime thinks that he could have played there.

I know that you like Byrd plus there are some other FA FS out there that might be a good fit. Also, Buffalo might pay Byrd. Getting a second round pick is not going to be easy unless you want to slide pretty far down in the first round.

what? tom heckert came out and point blank said before training camp last year that sheldon brown was a corner, period, and it would take a disaster of epic proportions to ever consider moving him to FS.

So you are telling me that a CB could never play FS. I think there is a guy that moved from CB to FS who now plays for the Packers. Also, Heckert might have just been saying that to pacify Brown. Link:huh: or am I just supposed to take your word all of the time like I usually do.

Does Heckerts firing amount to a disaster of epic proportions... well... to Heckert?

how exactly did you extrapolate that from Tom Heckert stating that they had no plans of moving Sheldon Brown last year, which totally contradicted your original assertion?
