Ed "LL" Warinner (Run Game Coordinator FAU)

Warriner's OSU bio states: "Warinner has 10 years of experience in a coordinator position, including three years as offensive coordinator at Kansas when the Jayhawks averaged 445.5 total yards per game and 35.3 points during that three-year period." I think if Herman were to leave, Warriner (obviously with input from offense-minded Urban and a QB coach to be named later) could make a perfectly fine full-time OC if that's what he would want to stay.

In all likelihood Herman will leave in a few years. I think it would be awesome for Warinner to move to OC until he retires.

In all likelihood Herman is gone after this season.
I hear what you are saying but I am not totally sold yet. Of course, if a gig like Florida comes knocking you can't really turn that down. With the way next year is setting up as a serious NC type year, there are 3 big factors in play and we don't know any of them yet.

IMO, in no certain order they are:

If we get the opportunity in the playoffs, who do we fair? If we win it all, it's easier to leave.
Which school is making the offer? The higher the cache of the school, the harder it is to say no.
How much of a raise will tOSU give him to stay for a little bit longer? The raise is a counter to the above 2 factors.
