Relaying a question from a friend since I didn't know the answer. He wants a custom OSU jersey with the name and number of a current player.

    1. Can you buy a custom jersey with a custom number & nameplate?

    2. Can you buy a custom jersey with just a custom number?

    If not...

    3. Can you buy a blank OSU jersey?

    4. Can you buy (fairly close to matching) numbers / nameplate from a jersey maker to have them stitched on locally?

Took me a lot of googling, but I finally found a guy who could produce what I wanted -- a 67 - 69 style jersey. I sent him photos from the era and this is what he came up with:

You usually can buy a personalized jersey off the ESPN shop, however right now they don't have any of their college jerseys up I guess. Maybe they will have them back up when we get to the season.

The restriction there is that he wouldn't be able to get the name/number combo of a current player on there, they aren't allowed to do that.

Id go to a local t-shirt place to see if they could put a name on it. Screen printing place will do it. Just get the jersey number you want then have them put the name on it. Should be real easy if ask me.
  6. at the team shop you can buy game worn jerseys. so potentially you can pick up a 100% authentic jersey (with no nameplate). then if it was me id call a local high school and see who does their unis, then you can call them, to see if they can do a scarlet nameplate...

Got my jersey today, thanks to cincibuck for tip. Now if the weather could drop about 10 degrees on game day I might not pass out in it.

    RIP Tatum

Cool. The guy does great work. Looking at getting an away jersey from the 61 - 65 era from the same place, but I've got to pay for this year's tickets first.
