Does anyone have information on DB Damon Webb's status? Don't see any poop here, and it's been five weeks. Also nothing in the rumor column. Lack of sound bytes indicates (to me at least) that there's a fairly serious issue here. Burning redshirts rather than playing Damon seem to indicate something that would at least have raised speculation in Buckeye Nation. Any thoughts? Thanks and Go Bucks

Was it earlier this year that Urb said something to the effect of if leaks in the program could be traced back that person would be looking for a new job? Seems like everyone got the message. If we don't know, there's a damn good reason we don't know. Not in the legal blotters but bad enough to sit this long = Coaches dog house. Here's your bone.

It's not final and the whisperings are not good. And no one is going to talk about it until it's final out of respect and frankly fear of severe legal ramifications.

Reinstatement is HUGE for the team. I think at the very least it's big to have depth. Right now our safeties have zero depth (Malik Hooker who is a raw talent that is not ready to have meaningful snaps most likely) and we only had 3 capable non-true freshman corners. Now with four corners, we can take one hit there. Before, if we dropped one corner we were without a viable nickel. Still worrisome at safety, but corner looks way better now.

Do you have a link? I didn't see anything in Smith's thread. But that would be a huge blow...we haven't lost any starters per se, but our depth is decimated with Burrows, Smith, and Webb out (and Reeves to start the year).

EDIT: Just saw this after I posted. Webb is back!
