Good speed, good size, great character and a lot of intangibles to be an asset on an NFL roster. Eli followed in the recent line of OSU shut down CBs after Roby and Grant. Had his bumps, like it was expected and worked to become a kid that could close off a side of the field. Wondering who's the next man to take the torch at CB for 2016... But it was great while you were here Eli to help with the NCView attachment 12257

That line stretches back pretty far... to my recollection, at least Shawn Springs. But I'm sure it goes back farther than that... I'm just too young. Can't remember too many years where we didn't have a starting lockdown CB.

The players mentioned in this article was what I was alluding to. The CBs that left and were followed by another high end CB who went from little brother to big brother. No doubt OSU has always had elite CBs, but recently its crazy how one shutdown CB leaves after teaching a fellow CB, who the following year steps up, and then does the same. Eli has done this and the torch should be passed to Gareon it seems (I personally believe it'll be Damon Webb)

I don't know about negative but anything too close to negative is called dead. Are they measuring ab size at the combine now?

Wow. I was l kind of hoping all the Buckeyes wouldn't go in the first round so they could end up where I want them! hehe

Way to go Eli! Could be first CB off the board now. Maybe Hargreaves still but Eli has prototypical size to go with that speed

Bingo. Some mocks had him as high as middle of first round pre-combine. With that official time (which is scorching), he may go in the top 15. NFL teams will love his size, at 6'1", and now they see he has speed to burn. He's exactly what the NFL wants in a corner.
