DB Vonn Bell is entering the 2016 NFL draft (All-American)

Anytime something like that slips out it's usually pretty much a done deal IMO. Mitchell did the same thing before committing to OSU, saying to someone about Bell "I don't know who he is, but we could use some safeties" or something similar. Of course, anything could happen after the OV, but i'd be very surprised if he picked OSU.

And there is zero chance that Bell would start next year. I've only skimmed the thread, but I thought I saw that suggested somewhere but maybe I didn't.

The star position seems tailor-made for someone with his skill-set, and he could possibly start at the star next year if he really impressed (I think Corey Brown and Bogard are the two candidates for the position). But yeah... if he's as good as people think he is, he'd be pretty much a lock to start his true sophomore year.

I thought he was the best looking safety, post season. He could grow into a LBer, though.

I respectfully disagree, with his elite range and ball skills. You shouldn't mess with that, to be honest, he may be one of the purest FS since Eric Berry (Who actually plays SS now...)

I think he's a corner that needs to grow into being a safety.

I think he is a stud and the staff will help him find his natural position.

I thought this too. I could see him moving to corner, with Cam Burrows and/or Gareon Conley playing safety. But who knows where these guys are playing in a few years. We have lots of flexibility in the secondary.

I've always felt better about this one than Quick. I think we have a fighters chance with Bell.
