    Rivals$--Bell details top seven

Vonn discusses his top seven schools and says Coach Meyer's career speaks for itself. He plans to take all five officials to gauge his relationship with the team, recruits, and coaches.

with the talk of najee murray being looked at on offense, and the fact that urban shuffles players around no matter what position, i think its a good possibility for v-smooth to play some offense if he commits here...i watched his offense clips on page 1 and he is so smooth and patient, i could see him competing for a spot in the playmaker position...i don't think too many people would argue that he wouldn't be a difference maker if he switched sides...

Him wearing that #7 and his ball hawking skills reminds me alot of Tyrann Mathieu

He would be larger than Tyrann, I think.

Just because he has speed and can catch doesn't mean he belongs on offense. And urban doesn't shuffle as many players as you make it seem. How many UF players switched from offense to defense or vice versa? I don't believe it was many. Bell should be a very talented S. We should hope he learns one side of the playbook first before trying to get him to switch positions. It's not as easy as it may seem

    Scout $ - A surprise from Bell?

    8/13

By Simmons....Still focusing on the same seven teams & plans on cutting to three before deciding. Expects to make a decision around the middle of the season after seeing how several schools on his list perform. Plans on setting up some visits soon & says his decision may surprise some people.

"Several Internet sites, including Scout.com, lists Ohio State as the favorite, though it's well known that Bell has grown up a Volunteers fan."

    Thought this question was interesting.

I think we might have a couple of assistant coaches who could answer that question pretty well.

You would think that a DB would want whatever number means "incompletion" in the Biblical sense.

Yep, take your pick: Fickell, Vrabel, Barton, Schlegel.

Or you could talk to Earl Bruce, Bo Pelini or Dick LeBeau.

There are probably dozens and dozens of other former players that are currently or have been in the coaching profession as well that I don't know off the top of my head.

I would have to imagine that Ohio State's recruiting board is very small right now with the number of spots left. You have the LBs (McMillan, Mitchell, Lewis), the WRs (Gibson, Quick, Allen, Timmons), the OLs (Johnson, Finley, Munger) and the two DBs (Bell, Worley).

Bell may very well be the most important recruit on that board.

Agree that the board is small, but McMillan= 2014
