DT Adolphus "Diesel" Washington (Official Thread)

Where did the number "9" come from? Why not go for a prime number?

It is saying that the ends just need one backup (rotate 2 players) but the tackles need and extra guy on top of rotating 2 players? Or ... or ... or?

Happened to be thinking about the B1G title game tonight and thought, "Bosa and Bennett got a lot of love, but boy did big Adolphus also have a great game." Got on here and can't believe I'm the only one that noticed. I felt like he played his best game as a buckeye. He was deep in the back field all night, set up and/or was in on more than tfl or sack, and played extremely disciplined. I've been a fan of this kids since day one, and it's extremely obvious to me that he's working his tail off and buying into coach Johnson. Looking forward to the playoffs and next year because he's getting better every week

Do you all think Washington is ready after this year? I will say no. He wasn't a first team all american or big ten, he got over shadowed by Bennett inside and really has a shot to be a first rounder with a big year next year.

I would trade him having two huge final games this year and winning it all then him turning pro, over going out after Bama and him returning

After Darnell Sanders and Derek Ross, you just never know. I've noticed throughout the season while he might not have been making the big tackle, many times he was funneling the action to Bosa, Bennett, or Lee. I would say Washington is ready now, if he wants to make the jump. However, staying his final year would certainly bolster his draft status, maybe even 1st round worthy.

I was calling his name a lot the last game and telling my buddies that he was having his best game as a Buckeye. The announcers were talking about Bennett and Bosa a lot but 'Dolph was kicking serious ass in the middle. If he has another one of those games Bama will have their hands full with this defense.
