DT Donovan Munger (Official Thread)

I am hoping for him to end up with us

This gentleman will probably need some technique coaching and some body chiseling but he represents an undeniable presence in the middle and can deliver game changing and devastating tackles. With this guy across from the Wisconsin and MI lines, I would not be worried in the middle, and would be waiting for that blow on the quarterback that takes him out of the game.

BN$--Munger Mulling His Options

Interview with Head Coach Jarvis Gibson....Donovan has improved his academic standing with a 23 ACT and will now definitely qualify. He is wide open right now but wants to make sure he only commits once. tOSU is still recruiting him heavily and he is still very interested.

Updated measurables on initial post

Do you say price because you believe him to be the better prospect and it'd be easier for him to change? I thought munger had a higher ceiling at both positions. I guess either move is a win-win.

I say Price because everyone is unfairly comparing him to Simon. IMO, Price just does not fit the mold of a DL recruit under Meyer. Given his mean streak, a move to OG is his best chance.

Munger OTOH is a big body who could do some damage at DT.

I don't think either moves to guard...total guess, but that is my gut feeling. If one did, I think it would be Price only because I think he has the height to play on the OL. I don't think Munger does, regardless of what his listed measurables are.

We lose Goebel, Simon and probably Hankins. Price, Hill and Munger are the replacements.
