"We will play Nevada anytime, anywhere.....except on the road and on a Friday!!!"

Fixed it for you.

Nevada would be an Indiana type of program in one of the major conferences, and Boy-See just lost to them. Maybe Gee shouldn't have said what he said, but there is little doubt that what he said was the absolute truth.

Nevada has been blown out by every blue-chip program they've played, including last year's abortion of a team in South Bend. I like Nevada. I grew up in Reno. All of college football owes them a debt of gratitude. Ault, however, is out of his fucking mind.

I feel so bad for the Boise President... before he made all those remarks about Gee... He didn't know Boise was going to be facing that juggernaut Nevada

The guy is a total assclown. He's not even an academic but, rather, a washed up Illinois Lt. Governor. There's no better indicator of this man's character than the fact that, at the very time he was threatening to sue the NCAA to force big time programs to play in Boise, he was big-timing his own in-state rival and discontinuing the series saying that TDU had outgrown them.

"What do I know about college football? I look like Orville Redenbacher. I have no business talking about college football." ? Ohio State president E. Gordon Gee

More than a week after his "Little Sisters of the Poor" comments ignited a national uproar, Ohio State president E. Gordon Gee yesterday admitted, "I need to keep my mouth closed."

"I'm very blessed to have the best athletic director and best football coach in the country," Gee said. "They run the athletic program and I run the university, and I should have stayed out of there. What I should do is go over to the surgical suites and get my foot extricated from my mouth.

"What do I know about college football? I look like Orville Redenbacher. I have no business talking about college football."

Gee created the controversy when he was asked whether schools such as Texas Christian or Boise State should be allowed to play in the national championship game if they were undefeated.

He first responded by saying, "Well, I don't know enough about the X's and O's of college football," but went on to say that teams in the Southeastern Conference or Big Ten play a "murderer's row" of opponents, and that "we do not play the Little Sisters of the Poor."

Gee concluded by saying that unless a team withstood the week-in, week-out competition of tough opponents in good conferences "there's some reason to believe they may not be the best teams" to play for a championship.

Any subtleties in Gee's remarks, though, were lost in the "Little Sisters of the Poor" comment.

On top of making fun of himself, Gee also sent a personal check to the Little Sisters of the Poor House in Oregon, Ohio. Mike and Mike in the Morning just took back the bad things they said about him, and said that he is a true class act.

Plus Boise lost

Right now on the front page of espn.com under "Headlines" it says the following:

"Lesson learned: Ohio St. head shuts up on BCS"

Thanks, ESPN, for reminding me how unprofessional you are and why I should not visit your website.

It's good to know that the depth of ESPiN's insight is so shallow to realize that self-deprecation in this instance by Gee only solidifies the points he made even more. What douches.
