ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

I don't watch the show, but I'm wondering what happens to "TODAY" when/if they bring in the ESPiN executive who runs all of those brain-drain shows like "First Fake". He's (Horowitz) probably moving shortly.

I assume Matt Lauer will be debating Al Roker or something.

My understanding is that they're planning to re-format the weather segment along the lines of "Around the Horn."

But how many times per hour will Savannah Guthrie ask if Tim Tebow, Favre or LeBron could be the leader of North Korea?

BTW, I have no clue how Horowitz's idiot TV will play with housewives. I'm assuming that's still the main demographic of "TODAY".

I won't know the difference. Haven't been able to stand The Today Show for years--never watch. But, I have faith in the people in charge at that family of networks. They already ruined The Weather Channel, so I'm sure they'll do a bang-up job of wrecking whatever was left of Today, too.

So, who will replace Lou to be the foil for Mark May? May's time could be doomed if he doesn't have the right sidekick to combat his style. Wait...Mark May doomed? Enjoy retirement, Lou!

Since it seems like everyone hired these days by ESPN for college football (writers, radio, TV) has some sort of SEC ties or SEC background, I'd say it will be David Pollack or Paul Finebaum.

They'll have SEC ties regardless.

If you're Rece Davis and Chris Fowler just locked himself up for the next decade (at least), you might want to think about jumping to CBS or FOX.

Yeah, I could see that. With Chris Fowler kind of blocking his career advancement, it's very possible Rece bolts. That would just leave Mark May for Gameday, and I doubt he can carry the program with a couple of newbies. Just as long as they don't stick Desmond Howard in one of those chairs...
