Fairfield Union senior in wheelchair scores touchdown

Trent Glaze does what every good senior captain does on football Friday.
He supports his teammates. He recognizes opposing offensive sets and calls them out to his teammates. He shows up at every practice, rain or shine.
On Friday, the Fairfield Union senior realized a dream he's had for the past 10 years -- he scored a touchdown.
You won't find it in the box score, so don't look. Even so, "Big T" scored the Falcons' biggest touchdown of the year.
Glaze has been in a wheelchair for the past 10 years, but that didn't stop him from lining up just moments after the Falcons' loss to Teays Valley, with the Viking defense hanging around for one more very important play.
"It means a lot. I've been waiting for this a long time," said a tearful Brice Winegardner, a freshman linebacker and offensive lineman.
