FL DB Ben Edwards (OSU & Auburn decommit; Stanford Verbal)

Comparison to Major Wright is spot on, Edwards can flat out lay the wood. But also has some pretty good ball skills. He has a great offer list, and his ratings will most likely shoot up. And he goes to a top ranked school for talent too which should only help us out

Obviously a huge hitter but I was impressed with his ability to cover ground and make a sure tackle when he needs to. Also love his ability to highpoint the ball. Always around the ball and makes plays as a result. He will definitely need to change his impact angle to avoid the flag-happy NCAA but man am I excited to have Ben in this class. Plenty of room to add muscle mass too.

Dude is a ballhawk! NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE! NASTY! Sorry if this was already posted
Saw a couple penalty flags thrown on some high hits, and he KO'd himself on the first highlight and was groggy after a hit on another. So, the kid can definitely lay the wood...let's hope he can cover his assignments as well (how many missed tackles did we have in 2012 by DBs trying to blow people up instead of tackling?) and not bust himself up too much by him aggressive style of play.

Jack Tatum circa 2015.
