FL LB Sh'mar Kilby-Lane (Florida State Verbal)

little suprised. We were leading a month ago. Grew up a buckeye fan and now we are third.

NSD 2014 isn't even a month away yet. His order should mean next to nothing at this point. We have an entire year to make him a buckeye. This team last year guys like Johnnie dixon, darius slade, sam hubbard, noah brown, to name a few favored other schools as well... recruiting is a marathon not a sprint

While it's not a big deal if true, I'm not sure it is.

There isn't a quote from Kilby-Lane saying those are his top three in order. He says FSU is in his top three and his top three is FSU, Alabama and OSU. He doesn't say in order.

Some still think that he could commit at our Spring Game.

That would not surprise me. I thought we were out in the lead by a comfortable margin.

It's extremely rare to find a player who is so dominant physically AND instinctually, while still having so much room for technical growth. It's hard to use the term "raw" because he is so advanced in certain parts of his mental game, but there are still skills he can stand to improve significantly. Beyond the basic football stuff, he is one of the nastiest high school players I've ever seen. The last time OSU recruited a such a deadly hitter was Major Wright, and after watching their highlights back-to-back, Kilby-Lane appears to take the cake. All traits considered, Kilby-Lane has the highest potential of any player I've seen in the 2015 class. In my opinion, he's the best LB prospect in the country.
