WR Torrance Gibson (Green Bay Blizzard)

Its not about HIM, but the potential disaster his skills presents for a defense

Lets get him on campus first and playing against college players before we bestow such high praise of what he'll do against a higher level of competition. I remember a certain prospect from TX who was supposed to be the next Ted ginn and Percy Harvin and is still yet to live up to the hype as a sophomore. ..

Welcome to the Buckeye Family, Torrence!! No matter what position he plays for us, he's going to be a difference maker on offense that opposing coaches are going to have to game plan for.

It's silly to argue whether TG will redshirt for the Bucks his first year. Sure, he has elite athleticism that NFL scouts drool over and probably won't stay here 5 years. No one on planet earth thought Mike Mitchell or Jalin Marshall would redshirt their initial season despite being elite athletes at positions of need, but it happens (injuries, trouble grasping the playbook, adjusting to college life, learning the position, other situations outside the player's control, etc.).

Can we just be happy and wish this kid well for choosing to wear S&G and stick it to that team up north?

"Playing quarterback means everything to me," Gibson told cleveland.com during a phone interview Monday evening. "I have been playing quarterback all of my life. It's not just a position to me, it's more than that. I play quarterback with a passion every time I go out there.

"I spoke to (offensive coordinator) Tom Herman, and he is always saying that he is psyched for me to come up there and play quarterback and he tells me that we are going to do amazing things together. He's always hyped about talking to me about playing quarterback. Things will work out great."
