Just watched his game against Dwyer on EspnU. Decent game, WR Dedrick Snelson made him look very good.
Stat line: 7/11 296yds 5tds (*4rec 223yds 3tds were to Snelson)

I liked the fact that he started in the pocket and when he did scramble, he kept this eyes down field

True but it's evident he needs seasoning at QB. I think he purposely scrambled less than he wanted because the game was nationally televised and the biggest knock on him is that he's an athlete that'll pull the ball down and run instead of pass. I do like that he read the defense well, and didn't try and do too much, which can sometimes happen to big time kids in big time games like this. He sat in the pocket and heaved some decent long shots. Snelson certainly bailed him out though, some run that shouldve gone for 15-20yds, Snelson turned into like 50. He made the biggest impression of any player in the entire game, IMO. Gibson definitely had flashes, and showed that he his a true dual threat. His season will interesting, because I think teams will trigger his running ability and force him to pass.

Very impressive performance (just watched the Dwyer game on TV). Certainly needs to work on his mechanics but throws a beautiful deep ball and has a cannon, very evident with his intermediate crossing route throws. We already know he is a great athlete and I really liked his size too, a very legit 6-4 it seemed. Lots of work to do at QB but very eye-opening performance.
