Who sticks out?

“Florida State one, Miami two and Ohio State three,” Bruce told 247Sports.com on Tuesday afternoon.

Where will the four-star prospect be this summer?

“I’m going to take a break for two weeks to rest my body,” Bruce said. “Then I’ll be back and forth to Miami. I’m going to Ohio State in July or at the end of June.”

The Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas standout has 27 offers.

Oregon is his newest.

“Offensive coordinator Scott Frost came down and watched me,” Bruce said. “Then he offered.”

During the Spring Evaluation Period, everyone was at national powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas.

“Ohio State, FSU, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Nebraska, Alabama and FAU were the ones I saw the most,” Bruce said.

As a sophomore, Bruce recorded 45 catches for 679 yards and nine touchdowns while at Fort Lauderdale (FL) University School.

Notebook: Stars gather at SoFla HS Media Day
Miami commit Sam Bruce says he will sign with Miami, to which he is currently committed, unless the program undergoes a coaching change. Bruce continues to visit other schools in an effort to establish backup options, however, and named Florida State, Florida, Ohio State and Auburn as his current failsafe plans. The Rivals100 prospect intends to take an official visit to each this fall.
