WR Tristan Payton due commits from UF
Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast wide receiver Tristan Payton took to Twitter Monday to announce his decommitment from the University of Florida. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect first committed to the Gators back in February. However, a summer trip to Southern California's camp made that pledge a bit shaky. He now has opened up his recruitment officially.

247Sports currently rates Payton a three-star prospect with an 88 grade.

Three Stand Out To Former Florida Commitment
Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast wide receiver Tristan Payton de-committed from Florida on July 21. He had then planned to attend the Ohio State Friday Night Lights camp on July 25, but was not able to make it. However, Payton is planning to visit USC Aug. 7-10 and the Trojans and Buckeyes are two of the three teams that stand out to Payton.

“The three schools I really like are USC, Ohio State and Central Florida,” Payton said. “Right now USC is on top. I’ll make an unofficial visit there Aug. 7. I committed to Florida too early. I’m not really looking at them anymore.”

The 6-foot-0 and 182-pound Payton has approximately a dozen scholarship offers including USC, Ohio State and UCF. He is a 3-star prospect in the 247Sports rankings. Payton is the country’s No. 50 wide receiver and the No. 53 prospect in Florida.

Payton’s Crystal Ball currently has 21 predictions with all 21 pointing to USC.
