Wish I could go. :(

Not even so much for the camp part- I'm hardly a talent evaluator- but more so just to spend a night at the 'Shoe in a casual setting.

Yeah, it's been too long for me. I've gotta take advantage of this opportunity. Even though I am going to try and pick up tickets for one of the earlier games this season.

I'll say a few thousand at best. How many people even know about it besides the miniscule percent that follow recruiting heavily? I've seen no promotion on TV or in print in the Columbus area.

Exactly. They aren't advertising this.

And as I said already, this will be competing against the Olympic opening ceremonies as well.

Football fans would probably pass on the Olympic Opening. I think people still want a look at Urban.

That still doesn't address the issue that this hasn't been advertised at all.

Also I just found out the Ohio State Fair started today as well, so it will be the first weekend of the fair too.

Are you being serious with the opening of the olympics thing? Since u said it twice i assume u are joking, because i cant tell u anyone beside my great grandma, who is looking forward to the opening ceremonies

From my experience at FNL at The Swamp...

Kids went to a weightroom warmup/workout with Coach Mick...then came out for group stretch. This is where the trashtalk and hype started. I immediately thought of Coach Meyer's quote from the debacle in the desert: "It was a feeding frenzy, what was going on in that locker room.." LBs and RBs went to one section, OL/DL to another and QBs/DBs/WRs to another....

Expect very loud music, kids being shuffled from the 'elite' groups to the 'maybe' groups to the 'um, thanks for coming' group.

Coach Meyer will be in the middle of the elite group pushing up the intensity and calling out specific matchups.

It was an absolute round robin of talent with coaches, former players, and fans cheering on every rep.
