I see that UC is on the Schools of Interest list on his Scout page. Anyone know if he is related to UC running back Ralph David Abernathy IV from Atlanta (and his father Ralph Abernathy, a famous civil rights leader and MLK associate)?

Top247 CB Abernathy names top five
Top247 cornerback Micah Abernathy of Norcross, Ga., didn't make it to Tennessee today for its "Orange Carpet Day" — he told 247Sports' Jake Rowe that it was because of the weather — but the Vols still made his top five that he released just a few minutes ago.

Here's the bolt from Rowe:

Greater Atlanta Christian defensive back Micah Abernathy released a top five to Dawgs247 on Saturday of Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, and Penn State. Abernathy added that there is no order to that top group as of right now. He is coming off a visit to UGA for Dawg Night on Friday and was scheduled to be in Knoxville on Saturday but did not make the trip.

The four-star prospect recently told Dawgs247 that he would decide in "October or November" but he said on Saturday that he will decide "probably before then." Georgia currently takes up 75 percent of the Peach State standout's Crystal Ball with Tennessee picking up 17 percent. Ohio State holds the remaining 8 percent at this time. Abernathy is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 202 overall prospect in the 2015 class and the nation's No. 19 cornerback.
