Top Gun Camp: Top Performers
2) Richard LeCounte — If you haven’t seen the class of 2017 Top100 recruit workout in person, you’re truly missing out. LeCounte, a 5-11, 175-pounder from Hinesville (Ga.) Liberty County, is about as talented and athletic as you will find. Working out at defensive back, LeCounte showed big-time speed, smooth coverage skills, and physicality that couldn’t be matched. He did a lot of talking during the event, all in good, competitive fun, and he more than backed it up with his play on the field. This U.S. Army All-American is a special talent.

Do you see Pryor moving to linebacker?
I think he just left off names because we'll probably have to cap the DB class at 5 because there's just too many big names with Osu interest. The '17 WR and DB classes will resemble the '16 DE class manor of recruitment. The staff will pursue all the DBs they're interested in. They will do so in the order they see fit behind closed doors until they reach their number. Wade, Wade, Williamson, Gibbs, Pryor, LeCounte, Wilson, Ford, Okudah and Holmes are all serious options.

As mentioned above, just too many big names to really account for right now. But he could. And LeCounte is extremely versatile, so perhaps even if we cap '17 DBs at 5 total, he may not count towards it (though I think LeCounte is a sure-fire DB right now). Then you also have the fact that we will be in a dog fight to keep Shaun Wade, so you can't bank on him being in.

We will have a killer DB class in '17 regardless but I would be ecstatic to pull LeCounte from the south...UGA will be stiff competition but I like where we are at. And as for LeCounte...he is a take in any scenario and we will pursue him to NLOID if necessary.
