Recently named a top 5 of Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Virginia Tech but after a call from Coach Ash says he now has a top 6 which includes Ohio State.

Four-Star DB Has Ohio State As A Top Choice, Will Visit

“I have a top three of Ohio State, South Carolina and Virginia Tech,” Character said. “I’m just waiting to take my visits to those schools. Then I want to make my decision near the end of the summer.”

However, when Character announces his decision it won’t necessarily mean the recruiting process is over.

“I hope to get to Ohio State this summer,” Character said. “If not Ohio State will be one of my official visits.”

Of the three schools, South Carolina is the only one Character has visited so far.

Character has a very good relationship with Ash.

“We talk two or three times a week usually on Twitter, but I’ve called him a couple times too,” Character said. “And he stopped out twice this spring. He watched me practice and do drills. Ohio State has been in my top three since coach Ash offered me. I just want to get up there and see it – meet the coaches.”
