Ohio State likely won't be a summer destination, but Roundtree knows he's going to visit Columbus. It will just have to wait until the fall, as he plans on using one of his five official visits on Ohio State.

One of the reasons for that is his close relationship with co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash, who has a strong reputation in the south after spending last season on Arkansas' coaching staff.

"I'm always talking to Coach Ash and Ohio State is a good school that I like a lot," Roundtree said. "It feels great that they are recruiting me this hard. They always tell me they get so many highlight films, but they only choose like 10 to actually evaluate. So it is really nice that they think really highly of me. It means a lot.

"I know I am going to take an official visit there."

Like I just posted in Andre James thread, absolutely huge to get him on campus for an unofficial this summer and again for an official in the fall/winter. Buckeyes have a chance here, although Auburn and Georgia will be in it until the bitter end.

'15 S Rashad Roundtree will be making another cut to his final list of favorite schools on Friday, this time narrowing his choices to five schools. The 6'1, 195-pound safety has been clocked at a 4.65 in the 40-yard dash and is ranked as the nation's sixth-best safety in the country.

The Crystal Ball experts are convinced that Georgia will be the program that Roundtree will eventually commit to, as all 24 experts that have voted have sent in their pick for the Bulldogs.

I expect OSU to make the cut...

Awesome sauce. Really impressive film, pretty much everything you want in a strong safety. Complete enforcer that always drives the ball carrier back, targets the ball at its highest point, and is a pretty good athlete. Very technically sound tackler that wraps up and I love that on his big hits, he doesn't target high, but rather explodes through the core (aka no penalties). I REALLY want to see Roundtree in this class.
