HB Dontre 'DeSoto' Wilson (Official Thread)

There's so many playmakers on this team ... most would probably be getting 10+ touches a game at other schools.
The article is typical media bs -- create controversy where none exists so you have something to talk about.

For example -- last night Eze took over with Rod platooning, leaving Samuel a bit forgotten. To say nothing of Dunn and Ball.
Thomas has stepped up big at the WR spot, but Smith and Spencer are still in the mix leaving Corey and Greene somewhat forgotten.
Jalin Marshall is no slouch either, and we've got 2 TEs that need worked in as well.
Just the way it is. Every one of the skill players is going to have to fight for every opportunity right now.

Sounds like we got a good problem :sneaky:

Samuel made himself get forgotten though with that fumble.

Cinci's sole goal versus ball carriers seemed to be forcing turnovers and must have given up 80+ yards after contact as a result. They stripped the ball from Samuel, almost stripped it from the WRs and backs a few other times.
They were definitely a little dangerous with there tackles- going high, at the helmet, etc. Seemed they either wanted to strip the ball or the Buckeye's heads off.

One thing that I have noticed about Dontre is his body language. He seems to almost have a mope about his ways when the touches are not coming. As a playmaker I can understand his frustration at times. Meyer is a team first guy, I think that he is still trying to get Dontre to buy in fully in that regard.

As a playmaker... he still hasn't taken one to the house.
