Four-star DT Naquan Jones includes Ohio State in his top five ... or six? Buckeyes recruiting
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Four-star defensive tackle Naquan Jones of Evanston (Ill.) Township posted his top five on his Twitter account Thursday afternoon. The only problem was there were six schools.

Either way, Ohio State was one of them. In no specific order, the list consisted of Ohio State, Michigan State, South Carolina, Michigan ... and Wisconsin/Penn State.

Perhaps that means that Wisconsin and Penn State are tied for the fifth spot, but it probably would have been easier to just to call it a top six.

But all six programs are likely ecstatic to have made the list for the 6-foot-4, 283-pound prospect whom the 247Sports composite ranking lists as the No. 28 defensive tackle in the 2016 recruiting class.

Jones also has scholarship offers from Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Notre Dame and others.

Contd....

Wonder how the Harbrau Fan Club is going to spin this one...

Funny you should ask--they've got an article up just today on the subject. I'll save you the click--it pretty much starts with "We're not doing that badly at recruiting" and ends with "Recruiting doesn't matter anyway because look at what Harbaugh did at Stanford with a bunch of three-stars." In other words, exactly the spin you were expecting...

I was also expecting the obligatory "We didn't need him anyways" post or two...
