In-State Players To Watch

One 2019 quarterback the Ohio State staff is interested in is Michael Lowery from Gahanna Lincoln.

The 6-foot-2 and 170-pound Lowery transferred to Lincoln from Pickerington North and is having an outstanding sophomore season. After eight games Lowery is already the Lincoln single season record holder with 2,060 passing yards and 20 touchdowns. The Ohio State staff is aware of Lowery.

“I’ve been on an unofficial visit to the (Ohio State) - Rutgers game a couple of weeks ago,” Lowery said. “I have an unofficial visit to Purdue coming up.”

"I'm also hearing from Ohio State, and Coach (Urban) Meyer was in my school last week," he said. "I visited there last year for the Northwestern game. Having Coach Meyer at the school was pretty amazing, and he only said hello to me. I have a lot of interest in Ohio State, and Coach Meyer wants me to come to a junior day in a few weeks."
