It's going to happen. I'm past the denial and anger - currently somewhere between depression and acceptance.

This. Hate all the stupid alt uniforms... especially for primetime and scUM games. I get they're going to do it b/c $$$, but couldn't they limit it to once a year and try to actually make it something special?
The one time I wouldn't have minded something like "all whites" or "all blacks" was this week.

And by "something special" I don't mean

500 years ago, Harold Edward "Red" Grange tore Michigan a new ahole and some guy in NYC started the hashtag #GrayGhost. So this week, against Minnesota (lol?), we're wearing gray uniforms.

PS please ignore his contradictory nickname "Red" and his better-known monicker as the "Galloping Ghost" from a Chicago writer.

So, Michigan was already good at sucking 500 years ago? Nice to know.

Since this is the uniform thread, I'll go ahead and throw my two cents in. I hate the mono-chromatic look of same color pants & jersey, but more and more schools are going that direction. If the powers that be determine that at some point, black jerseys have to happen, I hope they are paired with gray (or silver) pants, both with plenty of scarlet trimmings. I'm no where near ready to consider a black helmet at this time.....

It could be visually striking but I'm guessing they'll toss out a cookier cutter look in all black with a hint of OSU branding tossed in to sell.

They can market the all-black uniforms an homage to Glennville's pipeline to OSU.

The "should" look isn't bad although I'd prefer gray shoulder pad stripes(besides the screwing of tradition . . .) But you're probably right in thinking that e'll get something more like the second look. They'd better not do the second look with scarlet numbers though, which would be the worst of all worlds.

Unlike the Wisconsin esque look of the scarlet on scarlet, this is the one home Jersey where the helmet stripe would pop and look good

FWIW I think it looks a lot better when they actually wore it than the mock...not my favorite but I did not find it hideous at all.

I've never really cared for the idea of the Bucks in black, but I kinda like it with the red socks and shoes. Could be an interesting response to the white-out...
