Jim-Bo is a big hit at MLB spring training

MESA, Ariz. -- Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh was in A's camp as a "special guest instructor" to good friend Bob Melvin on Saturday, fully dressed for the part in preparation for a seven-inning stint as first-base coach during Oakland's 8-7 walk-off win over the Angels.

"I only travel to see the best," said Harbaugh, grinning wide after the victory.

meanwhile he's got 2 guys in his recruiting class and Meyer just landed another stud to put OSU at 7

Neither of whom committed to TheHarbrau™

But once word gets out that he's actually coaching up there, recruits will be tripping over themselves to play for that dinosaur program.
I'm sure all those Detroit area HS players and coaches he should be developing relationships with will be glued to riveting Cactus League action and be super impressed with all the camera time Harbaugh gets standing around behind first base.

They will all be so impressed by his "celebrity" it will be exactly like he gave a shit about college coaching and made any effort at all to show interest in them.

It's ingenious, really.

He likes Madonna, helped two chicks in a car wreck, is endorsed by Judge Judy and can coach 1B.

How does a recruit say "no" to that?
