HOWELL'S STOCK SOARING

"Ohio State has been in contact with me the most," he shared with Scout. "They're recruiting me the hardest. I've spoken to almost everyone on their staff, but it's primarily been Coach Warinner. He doesn't sugarcoat things with me. He has just said I'm a player that is good enough to step in play right away wherever I go. He told me I have to find the right fit, though."

"He has let me know there's a tackle spot open for them next year, though," Howell added. "He's been telling me that if I take it that it's a place I'll be competing for a national championship with right away."
