KS TE Josh Moore (Missouri signee)

A ton? It seems pretty simple to me. Ohio State encouraged him to look around because he no longer has a spot in the class and/or he wants to be close to home.
I don't know if it is that. It very well could be that we told him that we truly see him as an offensive lineman (and from his film I sure don't see a TE in his future, I see him as an OL), and he wants to be a TE.

That would be one way to push him to look around.
I truly have zero idea how he can stay as a TE at the next level. If so, it would be more for a traditional pro-style offense. Not split out like our TEs are from time to time. I saw him as a potential RT. Could be that when we recruited him we told him we see him as an OL, but he could get a chance at TE. But now our direction is 100% OL and he didn't want that. Really nobody knows, it's all conjecture.

Safe to say he projects at TE to this point (at least in either the staff's eyes or Josh's). Makes a lot more sense though. In any event, good luck to Josh and congrats on getting to play for the home team.

True...and even if he might project at tackle, he would be a very developmental player at the position...we already have that in Feder.

It honestly seems like our entire Oline is filled with projects or guys who switched positions. Whether its Baldwin, Price, Farris, etc. Im fine with the staff pursuing a more natural O lineman and a guy who wants to play TE. Best of luck Josh
