Just a heads up to the novice recruiting followers...game results rarely have any impact on a recruits decision.

I do remember us getting a commit from Philly Brown right after the loss to UsC in the shoe... The score matters little compared to atmosphere and future direction of the program. And no matter how much smoke and mirrors UK is using and how depressed OSU fans are after last nights loss, the Buckeye are moving in a much more positive direction than UK. And once conference play starts, UK doesn't have a chance of getting out of the cellar. Even with Harris, I don't see UK winning more than 2-3 in conference games. And the faint chance they do win 3 or heaven forbid 4 SEc games, Stoops is bolting for greener pastures. Urban ain't going anywhere for a while, and it certainly wouldn't be for another coaching gig in college, IMO.

Is the race ONLY kentucky vs Ohio state? He isnt looking ANYWHERE ELSE?

He has stated we're the final 2,for his commitment. And you keep forgetting that UK isn't very good on their OLine, they make some bad B1G teams look NFL caliber. You're forgetting this is the same 3win(0 in conference) team from last year, with a few new frosh who will make little impact. UK is literally the worst team in the SEC and they'd be near the middle to bottom in the B1G as well. Outside of Randall Cobb, can you even name a UK player in the league? That also factors in highly. As does who will win a conference or NC. Neither is UK. Not saying he couldn't follow his heart and end up at UK, but he won't be basing it on watching games. Because he'll see more losses than wins on UK visits, if they let him visit for in conference games.

As of now, it is those two schools. I just don't take the "OMGZ" ESPN approach to a player after having followed recruiting for a long time. I am honestly not trying to be a jerk, I thought results would/should be a determining factor in recruiting. But it just is not. Sometimes that would piss me off because it would work in our favor because we won big night games. We got curb-stomped last night but if the past is any indicator, nothing will change in terms of recruiting.

I think the only problem with a game like that is if we don't display the great game atmosphere. The energy before the game will always be electric, and it takes a game where we get down big early and don't ever fight back for the atmosphere to be completely negated.

Is this the first OSU game Harris has attended? I'd be surprised if he doesn't have a pretty good feel for how the game atmosphere at OSU is superior to UK.

I am in KY and have followed his recruiting closely. KY is 100% all in on him of course, Stoops flew into his game Friday night in a chopper. The ENtire state is telling him to go to UK and I think he is ever so slightly leaning toward UK at this point.

His relationship with UM is what is keeping OSU in it and right there in it. He had a great time in Cbus win or loss. It will all come down to where he is "comfortable" in a few months.
