James Quick (WR Louisville)

Conflicting reports from the folks at the ozone today... saying its 50/50 between OSU and UL

In all honesty the Ozone hasn't been a primary source of info when it comes to Quick. Michael Chung's been bugging the kid for an interview on twitter for months but didn't materialize until he saw Quick in person this week. The folks who's been in touch of Quick, and more importantly with his family contacts, are all saying OSU this week. I can see Quick giving a more bottled up answer to someone unfamiliar.

In his Ozone interview, he cited Freshman playing time as an important factor, even though he was still yet to sit down with his family.

Other than linebacker, it seems that receiver is the most opportune place for a freshman at tOSU.

I read a while back on these boards that the kid hates the attention. I can definitely see him declining to give interviews.

Missed Diggs last year. He would've been a terrific addition to last year's class.

Huge understatement. Diggs is such a game-changer. Really hoping Gibson or Quick commit to Ohio State and they make the same kind of impact.

Diggs would have been great, but if we have Diggs now we probably don't get a guy like Quick who wants to play right right away. So when we get Quick let's call it even steven :)

If you have Diggs, losing out on Quick isn't as too much of a blow.

Besides, with the inconsistencies of D.Smith he might have gotten playing time regardless of iif Diggs were here.

True. I lived in St. Matthews right down the street from Trinity. That school reminds me of Elder in Cincinnati. Grown men wearing their HS letter jacket to the bar on Friday nights.

As for Quick, the Louisville area will lose their mind if he comes north. Fingers crossed!

A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!

He would not be the first or last person to look out for himself and do what is best for him, and if that leads him away, the locals will adjust and some of them might even root for him hard when he is catching TD's in the NC game.

Heard from one college coaching staff not connected to either Ohio State or Louisville. They "KNOW" James Quick is committing to OSU
Good source

Time to warm this guy up?
