James Quick (WR Louisville)

We are reaching if the dialogue goes from possible leader to designing the career path for a Big East coach. I hope Quick recognizes the opportunity in the depth chart at tOSU.

Either way I wish him the best in his future.

...I have no feelings on Charlie Strong.

The offense will look good. Everyone will be talking about us as NC contenders in 2013 and Mr. Quick will come aboard. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Agreed, the tOSU offense may not have inspired that many dreams over the last few years, but it will change. And it will make a big difference.

I found Quick's twitter comments to be very interesting right after he finds out that OSU lands Taivon Jacobs, WR out of Maryland. I was under the impression that he was a heavy L'ville lean all along and that OSU didn't have much of a shot anyway. I was surprised to hear that both the Cards and Bucks are even @ #1 and and a few others are trailing after his comments.

I am curious to see if it this changes in lieu of all the rumors swirling that OSU has put the breaks on their pursuit of him after landing Jacobs. I'm sure he is wanting clarification from OSU coaches on just how bad they want him or I see L'ville winning out on this one in the end.

I think a lot depends on the Charlie Strong situation and whether he is still on the sidelines @ L'ville next year or not. I would think that OSU would take him if he was still interested but I just don't see us having the room for any combo of the 3 of: Jacobs, Gibson, Quick and Foster w/ our limited schollie #'s. Any 2 of those names would be great and I think is more realistic @ this point.

Go Bucks!!!

My read? Jacobs commit puts the squeeze into his thought process. Only 1 spot left in this class for a wr. If he wants in he will have to decide sooner rather than later IMHO.
Is that the general thought - only 1 WR left? What is the reasoning here, just curious? With Urban's repeated comments about a lack of playmakers among the recievers it seems like there is room for 4. Jalin, Jacobs......and _____, and ______. Insert Foster, Quick, Allan or Gibson. In particular, I can't imagine passing on the first 2 if they were both available...Allan is pretty close to being the same in my book.

5 spots left. Maybe 4. The following is my hunch.

WR
